Polly Apfelbaum was born in in Abington Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.[1]
In , Apfelbaum received her BFA degree from the Tyler School of Art in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania.[1] She also received training from SUNY Purchase College in New York.[1]
